Activity for Economic Development

On Thursday, May 16, 2019, the Local Board of Labor Development and its president Mr. José Justiniano, in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce of the West of Puerto Rico, the Association of Sales and Marketing Executives (SME), Association of Merchants of the Mayagüez Center and the Mayagüez Movement Pro Desarrollo del Oeste, carried out the Activity: Alliances with the Business Sector for the Economic Development of the Local Area and the Western Area. The activity was held in the facilities of the Chamber of Commerce of Western PR and attended the members of these important business organizations, where the services available for employers were promoted in the Single Management Center / “American Job Center” of the ALDL Mayagüez -Las Marías as well as the programmatic activities available and aimed at training and training new recruiting employees or retraining incumbent employees. In addition, the creation of agreements and alliances was promoted in order to promote Economic Development and the creation of employment in our Local Area. The Activity was directed by Mr. José A.
